Book Club – New at Heritage Woods

Hey Kodiaks! Do you love to read? If so, be sure to check out the newest club at Heritage Woods: HWSS Book Club. Rachel Hall, who founded the book club after realizing the absence of one at our school, wants to show students that reading can be for more than just English homework; it can be fun! The first meeting was on Friday April 12th, where they talked a little about the club and exactly what it entails. There is a short survey that can be found on the club’s instagram page (@hwssbookclub) to figure out the best book and meeting times for students who are interested in joining. Food and drinks are served at the meetings, and they hope to hold monthly meetings in either the Library or Mr. Durand’s room. This is a great place to meet some new friends, have fun, and talk about your love of books!

If you have any questions, you can email the student organizer, Rachel Hall, at 127-rhall@sd43.bc.ca.

Be sure to follow them on Instagram @hwssbookclub to keep up to date on meeting times!
