Physics Club

HWSS Physics club meets weekly after school for about an hour on Monday at room 304. Our main goal is to learn and explore in and beyond the school Physics curriculum while participating in contests (UBC Physics Olympiad). During the first semester, we are learning/studying for UBC Physics Olympiad theory component and occasionally take a break with fun labs and activities. During second semester we are prepping for UBC Physics Olympiad building and lab components. Afterwards it will be exploration time in members’ interest fields. We might participate in other contests depending on time and readiness.
